Glyndwr Vineyard, Wales

Glyndwr Vineyard is the oldest and largest established vineyard in Wales. The current owners pioneered the revival of viticulture in Wales, establishing Glyndwr Vineyard in 1979, making it the oldest family estate in Wales. Glyndwr are passionate about their home and surroundings and the important bond between nature and the wine they produce.

Their menagerie of chickens, ducks and wild pheasants roam the vineyard, hedges are left to grow wild to encourage bird life and the vines are treated with organic material.

With the experience of 35 years playing an important role in the current success and reputation of the vineyard, the owners have built up an extensive network of loyal customers including, the Celtic Manor Resort, Glen-yr-Afon Hotel, and numerous family run delis from St David’s in Pembrokeshire to Wally’s in Cardiff.
